IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE OPEN PUBLIC MEETINGS ACT OF THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY ON JANUARY 12TH, 2023.

[Board of County Commissioners Agenda/Work Meeting]

ADEQUATE NOTICE OF THIS MEETING WAS PROVIDED AS REQUIRED BY LAW.

ADDITIONALLY, THIS MEETING IS BEING DIGITALLY RECORDED AND LIVE STREAMED ON THE SOMERSET COUNTY WEBSITE AND SOMERSET COUNTY FACEBOOK PAGE.

FOR PUBLIC ACCESS, PLEASE EMAIL YOUR QUESTIONS TO COUNTYBOARDMEETING@CO.SOMERSET.NJ.US.

THE PUBLIC MAY PARTICIPATE IN THIS MEETING BY CALLING (908) 231-7075 OR BY COMMENTING ON THE FACEBOOK LIVE STREAM.

DIRECTOR ROBINSON, THANK YOU.

PLEASE RISE FOR THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND REMAIN STANDING.

LET'S TAKE A MOMENT OF SILENCE AS WE REFLECT THIS WEEK ON THE 22 YEARS SINCE THE 9/11 ATTACK.

THE VALOR AND BRAVERY OF OUR FIRST RESPONDERS, AND ALL THOSE.

WHO LOST THEIR LIVES ON THAT DREADFUL DAY.

WELCOME, EVERYONE, TO THE SEPTEMBER 12TH WORK SESSION OF THE SOMERSET COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS.

THIS AGENDA AND THE ITEMS ON IT FOR DISCUSSION AND WILL BE CONSIDERED AT THE NEXT MEETING, WHICH IS SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 26TH.

NO ACTION WILL BE TAKEN AT THIS MEETING UNLESS THE MEASURE AND ITS ADOPTION ARE NEEDED IN A MANNER NECESSARY TO CONTINUE COUNTY BUSINESS.

ROLL CALL, PLEASE.

AS I MENTIONED IN THE REFLECTIONS, WE ALL COMMEMORATE SEPTEMBER 11TH.

LEST WE NEVER FORGET THAT DREADFUL DAY IN HONOR TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR COMMEMORATION ON YESTERDAY, AS WE REMEMBER THE 39 LIVES LOST OF OUR RESIDENTS OF SOMERSET COUNTY AND ALL THOSE WHO PASSED AWAY ON THAT DAY.

IT IS ALSO HEART-WRENCHING TO HEAR THE NAMES READ OFF BY ALL OF YOUR COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, AS WE HAVE DONE IN THE PAST, TO REMEMBER HOW WE CAME TOGETHER AS A NATION, AS A PEOPLE.

ON THAT VERY DAY, BUT TO REMEMBER NOT JUST THAT DAY.

US COMING TOGETHER AND BEING UNITED AS NEIGHBORS, AS A STATE, COUNTY, AS A COUNTRY, BUT EVERY DAY TO KEEP THAT SPIRIT OF UNITY ALIVE. WE SHARE FAR MORE OF THINGS THAT ARE ALIKE THAN WE DO OUR DIFFERENCES.

WE LOVE FAR MORE OF THE SAME THINGS MANY OF US THINK ABOUT, AND THIS ANNIVERSARY IS A TIME FOR AMERICANS TO REMEMBER AND COME TOGETHER TO CONTINUE AND MAKE THIS AMAZING AMERICAN EXPERIMENT AND EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE.

ALSO RECENTLY WE DID VETERANS PARKING SPACES.

ONE OF THE WAYS WE CAN COME TOGETHER IN SERVING AND HONORING OUR VETERANS AND AS AN AIR FORCE VETERAN, I'M PROUD THAT SOMERSET COUNTY AND THE PARK COMMISSION HAVE PARTNERED TO PROVIDE THESE SPACES AT TWO DOZEN LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY, INCLUDING MOST PARKS AND IN THE COUNTY'S PARKING DECK DOWNSTAIRS, ALSO BACK TO SCHOOL SAFETY.

ALL OF OUR SCHOOLS ARE OPEN AGAIN AND IT IS A PERFECT TIME FOR US TO THINK ABOUT AND HAVE DISCUSSION ABOUT SAFETY.

THIS MEANS BEING VERY CAREFUL ON THE ROADS, ESPECIALLY DURING THE EARLY MORNING AND MID AFTERNOON HOURS AS OUR KIDS, OUR STUDENTS ARE BEING SENT TO AND FROM SCHOOL.

THE CROSSING GUARDS, LAW ENFORCEMENT ALL DO A GREAT JOB OF TEACHING THE KIDS SAFETY, BUT THESE ARE STILL VERY YOUNG KIDS WALKING TO AND FROM SCHOOL, AND WE AS THE ADULTS HAVE TO BE EXTREMELY AWARE AND CAREFUL.

UNFORTUNATE THAT WE HAVE TO HAVE THESE TYPE OF CONVERSATIONS WITH ADULTS, AND SOMETIMES WE CAN TAKE PLACE FROM THE PLAYBOOKS OF THE KIDS BECAUSE THEY'RE VERY SAFETY CONSCIOUS AT ALL TIMES.

THEY LIVE IN A WORLD AND WE TAKE IT FOR GRANTED SOMETIMES AS ADULTS THAT WE JUST LIVE LIFE.

WE KNOW THE RULES OF THE ROAD, AND SO WE JUST HAVE TO BE MINDFUL OF THAT.

IT'S ALSO MEANS GETTING OUR YOUNG PEOPLE VACCINATED.

AS COMMISSIONER SINGLETERRY HAS SAID IN THE PAST IN REGARDS TO HIS REPORTS AND OUR DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH REMINDS US THAT NEW JERSEY HAS REQUIRED VACCINATIONS TO PROTECT OUR OWN CHILDREN AND OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILDREN.

VACCINATION HAS ELIMINATED DISEASES SUCH AS POLIO THAT USED TO RUIN THOUSANDS OF LIVES AND MADE DISEASES SUCH AS CHICKENPOX MUCH LESS PREVALENT.

SO LET'S BE MINDFUL OF HEALTH AND SAFETY OF NOT ONLY OUR CHILDREN, BUT OTHER PEOPLE'S CHILDREN AND OURSELVES, AND THAT ENDS MY REPORT.

[00:05:09]

THANK YOU. WELL, I HAVE SOME GOOD NEWS.

THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION CAME OUT WITH A RANKING OF HIGH SCHOOLS BASED ON TEST SCORES AND GRADUATION RATES AND OTHER FACTORS AND THE SOMERSET WELL FOR HIGH SCHOOLS.

BETWEEN 2017 AND 2022, FOUR HIGH SCHOOLS JUMPED 100 PLACES.

THE SOMERSET COUNTY VOTEC JUMPED THE HIGHEST.

IT IS NOW RANKED 18TH, UP FROM 100.

IT JUMPED 159 SPOTS.

[APPLAUSE] SO CONGRATULATIONS TO THAT.

LET'S SEE I, RECENTLY, ALONG WITH COMMISSIONERS DRAKE AND SOOY, PARTICIPATED IN PROJECT FIRST CLASS.

THIS WAS A JOINT EFFORT BETWEEN THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE IN THE COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN WHO WERE ABLE TO COLLECT OVER 250 BACKPACKS AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO HELP SCHOOL KIDS START OFF THE SCHOOL YEAR.

SO CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE AND THE COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN, AND OVER THE WEEKEND, ON SUNDAY, I STOPPED BY THE CENTRAL JERSEY JAZZ FESTIVAL RIGHT HERE IN SOMERVILLE.

IT WAS THE FIRST CENTRAL JERSEY JAZZ FESTIVAL SINCE CENTRAL JERSEY BECAME OFFICIAL.

SO A LOT OF GOOD MUSIC.

THANK YOU. COMMISSIONER SINGLETERRY, YOU GOT THROUGH HALF OF MY PRESENTATION ABOUT THE BACKPACK DRIVE. THEY WERE DISTRIBUTED THROUGH THE FOOD BANK NETWORK OF SOMERSET COUNTY, AND IT WAS A HUGE SUCCESS.

WE DID HAVE A POPULATION OUT OF NORTH PLAINFIELD WHERE THERE WERE FAMILIES THAT WERE DISPLACED AND WERE ABLE TO MAKE SURE THAT KIDS WERE ABLE TO START BACK TO SCHOOL WITH EVERYTHING THAT THEY NEED. THE BACKPACKS WERE FILLED WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND AND THE TIMES OF NEED.

WE HAVE THE RESOURCES TO BE ABLE TO BRIDGE THOSE GAPS.

I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT ONE OF OUR COMMISSIONERS ON THE COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN.

[INAUDIBLE], SHE IS MANVILLE AND SHE CREATED A CHILDREN'S BOOK AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU GO DOWN TO THE MANVILLE LIBRARY, THE MONTGOMERY LIBRARY OR SOME OF OUR OTHERS WITHIN SOMERSET COUNTY AND CHECK IT OUT.

SHE REALLY DID POUR HER HEART AND SOUL INTO THIS.

SHE RAISED TWO INCREDIBLE CHILDREN, ONE THAT WAS THE VALEDICTORIAN GRADUATING FROM OUR VERY OWN MANVILLE SCHOOL SYSTEM AND THE OTHER ONE THAT ATTENDS UPENN.

HER BOOK IS TO MAKE SURE THAT CHILDREN REALLY ARE ABLE TO HARBOR THAT INNER GENIUS WITHIN THEM, AND IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN OR WANT SOMEONE THAT RAISES ONES WITH POSITIVE ENCOURAGEMENT, I REALLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO CHECK IT OUT.

WE WILL HAVE A LINK ON SOME OF OUR SITES.

SO MORE INFORMATION IS COMING SOON.

THE COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN IS ALSO DOING A SCHOLARSHIP LUNCH AT THE SOMERVILLE ELKS ON NOVEMBER 11TH.

TICKETS START AT $65.

WE DO ENCOURAGE YOU, THOUGH, TO CONSIDER A LOFTIER DONATION OR BECOMING A SPONSOR BECAUSE THE PROCEEDS WILL BE GOING TOWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WOMEN WITHIN RARITAN VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

WE DO HAVE A STUDENT THAT IS ALSO SERVING AS A COMMISSIONER ON THE COMMISSION ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN.

VERY WORTHY, AND SHE SAID SHE RECEIVED A SCHOLARSHIP IN THE AMOUNT OF $500 AND THAT PAID FOR HER BOOK FOR AN ENTIRE BOOKS FOR AN ENTIRE SEMESTER.

SO EVERY DOLLAR REALLY DOES HELP FOR THESE STUDENTS AND WE TRY TO GIVE A DISCOUNTED RATE.

SHE WORKS TWO JOBS AND THESE ARE THE SUCCESS STORIES THAT WE REALLY LIKE TO ENCOURAGE MORE OF.

SO THAT CONCLUDES MY REPORT.

THANK YOU, COMMISSIONER SOOY.

SO AS COMMISSIONER, DEPUTY DIRECTOR SINGLETERRY MENTIONED, CENTRAL JERSEY IS OFFICIAL NOW.

THE GOVERNOR WAS HERE LAST WEEK TO SIGN THE OFFICIAL BILL, WHICH WAS VERY EXCITING, AND ALONG WITH HIM IS OUR NEW LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR, TAHESHA WAY.

SO THAT WAS EXCITING TO SEE HER BEFORE THE FORMAL ANNOUNCEMENT WAS MADE, AND WE SEND OUR BEST TO HER FOR A SUCCESSFUL TERM.

JAZZ FEST WAS ALSO GREAT.

GOT THE CD TO PROVE IT.

IT WAS REALLY A LOT OF FUN AND IT MANAGED TO STAY DRY.

COMMISSIONER DRAKE AND I JUST GOT BACK FROM THE SENIOR ART SHOW, SO THEY ARE TAKING THEIR WORKS OF ART HOME NOW.

SO LAST CHANCE TO GET A CHANCE TO SEE THOSE, BUT THE SENIORS DID AN AMAZING JOB AND WE SENT OFF SEVERAL PIECES TO THE STATE ART SHOW FOR CONSIDERATION ON A STATE LEVEL.

SO THAT'S VERY EXCITING.

A LOT OF UPCOMING EVENTS FOR CULTURAL AND HERITAGE.

SEPTEMBER 14TH.

I DON'T WANT TO STEAL COMMISSIONER DRAKE'S THUNDER, BUT THERE WILL BE AN INFLUENCING AGRICULTURE PROGRAM.

[00:10:05]

HE MAY HAVE MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THAT, BUT THE MONTH OF OCTOBER, OCTOBER 1ST, THE 1770S FESTIVAL AT THE LORD STERLING PARK, OCTOBER 7TH AND EIGHTH IS THE BIG WEEKEND JOURNEY TO THE PAST.

THIS HIGHLIGHTS THE HISTORIC SITES WITHIN SOMERSET COUNTY HERE SCHISTORYWEEKEND.ORG I BELIEVE IS THE WEBSITE TO GET MORE INFORMATION ON THE SITES THAT WILL BE OPEN.

THAT'S GREAT WEEKEND OCTOBER 15TH IS OUR DIVERSITY FESTIVAL AND OCTOBER 28TH IS THE MIDDLEBROOK SYMPOSIUM AT THE RARITAN VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE THAT WE'RE WORKING WITH THE HERITAGE TRAIL ON.

SO A LOT OF THINGS COMING AHEAD.

SO PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS TO STAY HERE IN SOMERSET COUNTY IN THE MONTH OF OCTOBER.

SHARED SERVICES WE DID OUR SHRED DAY LAST SATURDAY HAD A OH I'M SORRY, SHRED DAY IS THIS SATURDAY COMING UP AT SOUTH COUNTY GARAGE FROM 9 TO 1 OUR CULTURAL HERITAGE.

WE TALKED ABOUT OUR UPCOMING WORKS THAT ARE GOING ON LIBRARY COMMISSION MET THE BIG NEWS IS THE SCANNER.

THE HISTORIC SCANNER IS NOW OPEN IN MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP LIBRARY.

SO IF YOUR MUNICIPALITY PARTICIPATES IN THE SOMERSET COUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM, YOU CAN MAKE A RESERVATION ONLINE TO UTILIZE THAT TO ARCHIVE DOCUMENTS, POST CARDS.

THERE'S ALL TYPES OF MEDIA THAT CAN BE ARCHIVED THROUGH THERE.

IT'S ALSO GIVING US THE ABILITY TO WORK WITH OUR HISTORIC GROUPS SO THAT THEY CAN COLLABORATE TOGETHER TO GET INFORMATION AND SHARE IT, AS WELL AS SHARING POTENTIALLY WITH THE STATE ARCHIVES.

SO THIS IS A REALLY BIG DEAL AND WILL GIVE A LOT OF INFORMATION ACCESS TO MANY, MANY PEOPLE.

WE ALSO HAD THE BOOK BIKE THAT WAS LAUNCHED AND I WAS TRYING TO GET THE PICTURE OF COMMISSIONER DRAKE ON IT, BUT I WASN'T ABLE TO GET IT FROM [INAUDIBLE] BUT THE LIBRARY COMMISSION DID BUY A BIKE THAT HAS LITERALLY A DISPLAY CASE IN THE BACK THAT THEY CAN TAKE. IT'S ACTUALLY GOING TO NORTH PLAINFIELD THIS WEEKEND OR IT WENT THIS PAST WEEKEND.

SO IT'S REALLY EXCITING.

IT'S GOING TO BE IT'S IN HIGH DEMAND BY THE DIFFERENT BRANCHES, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THEY MADE IT OFFICIAL AGAIN TO CONTINUE THE RECIPROCAL BORROWING OF BOOKS WITH FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP'S LIBRARY.

SO IF YOU LIVE IN FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, YOU'RE FREE TO BORROW BOOKS IN FRANKLIN OR ANY OF THE SOMERSET COUNTY LIBRARY BRANCHES, WHICH IS VERY EXCITING, AND THAT CONCLUDES MY REPORT. YES.

OH, YES.

DO YOU HAVE IT UP THERE? THANK YOU, KELLY.

I DID WANT TO MAKE MENTION THAT WHILE I WAS AT THE JAZZ FEST ON SUNDAY, THIS IS ONE OF THE PROJECTS WE HAVE DONE WITH OUR HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUNDS.

THIS IS THE FOUNTAIN THAT SITS RIGHT THERE BY THE COURTHOUSE ON THE CORNER, RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM US.

IT IS RESTORED TO ITS FULL ELEGANCE AND BEAUTY.

THE FOUNTAIN IS NOW RUNNING.

IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.

SO WE WANTED TO SHARE OUR GOOD WORKS WITH YOU AND SHARE IT WITH YOU, THE COMMUNITY.

SO THANK YOU.

THANK YOU.

WE COME TO THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THIS MEETING WHERE ANYONE FROM THE PUBLIC CAN SEND AN EMAIL, SOCIAL MEDIA, TELEPHONE AND OR SPEAK.

IF YOU'RE IN THE AUDIENCE, FIVE MINUTES, NO YIELDING OF TIME, NO COMING UP A SECOND TIME, PLEASE COME FORWARD AND STATE YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS.

IS THERE A MOTION TO GO TO THE PUBLIC? SECOND. ALL IN FAVOR? AYE. HELLO, EVERYBODY.

YEAH, I JUST WANT TO SAY SOME THINGS ABOUT, WELL, 9/11.

I THOUGHT IT WAS A VERY SAD DAY IN AMERICA.

I LISTENED TO SHORTWAVE AT THAT TIME, AND WE KNEW A MONTH AHEAD OF TIME ABOUT THE ATTACK ON 9/11.

ONE FBI AGENT I KNOW SHE TESTIFIED LATER ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT KNOWING ABOUT 9/11, AND WELL, ANYWAY, MY WIFE AND I WERE ACTUALLY GOING TO ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA, ON THAT PARTICULAR DAY, AND I DON'T KNOW, WE LAID OVER SOMEWHERE IN THE MORNING WE MADE A PIT STOP IN ROANOKE, VIRGINIA, AND THERE WAS A FORD DEALER THERE, AND I WALKED IN THE SHOWROOM AND THEY WERE SAYING THAT NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE HAD STOPPED TRADING.

SO I SAID, WOW, THAT'S KIND OF FUNNY I SAID, WOW.

SO THEN THEN THEY WERE REAL NICE TO US AND THEY SAID, WELL, GO TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE BUILDING, THE ONE ACROSS THE STREET.

SO I SAID, ALL RIGHT, WE'LL GO OVER THERE, AND I THINK WE WATCHED THE SECOND JET GO INTO THE TOWER DOWN THERE IN NEW YORK AND WELL, ANYWAY, MY WIFE AND I WERE TALKING MY WIFE CLIMBED A HILL TO TOUCH BASE WITH SOMEBODY IN TRENTON OR SOMETHING THERE AND SHE WAS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH COMMUNICATIONS AT THAT TIME, AND THEN ANYWAY, WE WERE DECIDING WHAT TO DO SHOULD WE HEAD BACK, AND WE WERE A LITTLE AFRAID TO GO NEAR WASHINGTON BECAUSE I FIGURED IT'D BE A NUCLEAR ATTACK OR SOMETHING.

SO THAT WAS KIND OF SCARY IN ITSELF, AND WE SPENT THE NIGHT IN BOONE, NORTH CAROLINA, WHICH IS PROBABLY SO FAR AWAY FROM CIVILIZATION.

IT WAS KIND OF FUNNY.

I SAID, LOOK WHERE WE ARE, BOONE, NORTH CAROLINA, AND IT WAS LIKE THERE WAS A PIZZA STORE THERE AND PEOPLE IN THERE, EVERYBODY HAD THEIR WAS GLUED TO THE TV SET WATCHING WHAT WAS GOING ON, AND IT WAS AND MY WIFE WRAPPED AROUND SCAMPI, OUR DOG.

IT WAS LIKE, WOW, EVERYBODY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT, AND WELL, ANYWAY, WE WERE GOING TO WE WEREN'T GOING TO HEAD BACK BECAUSE OF THE BUT WE RAN INTO PEOPLE THAT WERE COMING OUT OF NEW YORK CITY.

ONE COUPLE WAS GOING ON A GOING OVER TO EUROPE AND THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND AND THEY WERE GOING TO GO TO THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING, AND THEN HER HUSBAND DIDN'T WANT TO GET UP.

SO THEY CHANGED THEIR MIND.

THEY WERE GOING TO PHENIX, ARIZONA, AND THEN WE RAN INTO PEOPLE THAT WERE IN ATLANTA AND THEY WERE HEADING BACK TO CONNECTICUT.

EVERYBODY WAS DRIVING BECAUSE NOBODY COULD FLY, AND BUT THE SAD PART IS THAT WE HAD WE KNEW A MONTH AHEAD OF TIME BEFORE 9/11 AND THE GOVERNMENT THAT'S INEXCUSABLE WHAT HAPPENED ON 9/11, BECAUSE OUR GOVERNMENT, THE FBI KNEW ABOUT IT AND THESE PEOPLE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO STOP IT AND IT'S A DISGRACE TO THIS COUNTRY THAT THIS HAD TAKEN PLACE, AND ONE OF THE FELLAS THAT I WAS LISTENING TO AT THAT PARTICULAR TIME WAS ALEX JONES, AND RECENTLY I HEARD THAT HE WAS FINED $95 MILLION, AND I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE FLAGS WITH HIM, AND WELL, ANYWAY, IT'S REALLY AMAZING.

THEY DESTROYED HIS LIFE, AND BUT ANYWAY, WHAT KIND OF COUNTRY IS THIS? AND ANOTHER THING I WANT TO MENTION BEFORE I FORGET THAT.

INFLATION, RIGHT? THEY SAID THE AVERAGE FAMILY IS SPENDING LIKE $800 MORE A MONTH FOR NECESSITIES, AND I WAS THINKING ABOUT IF WE HAD USED AN HONEST MONEY SYSTEM IN THIS COUNTRY BACKED BY SILVER.

I'M THINKING SILVER.

I MEAN, STEVE FORBES ALWAYS TALKS ABOUT GOLD.

ONE TIME WE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A MEETING WITH HIM AND WELL, ANYWAY, MY FRIEND DREW FOSTER AND I WERE TALKING ABOUT I ASKED HIM, I SAID, WELL, IF WE USED AN HONEST MONEY SYSTEM, WOULD THERE BE INFLATION? HE SAID, WELL, PROBABLY 1%.

IF WE HAD 1%, THAT WOULD BE A LOT, BUT BY USING THIS CROOKED MONEY SYSTEM IN OUR COUNTRY, INFLATION WILL JUST RUN RAMPANT.

YOU CAN'T CAN'T CONTROL IT, AND IT'S A DISGRACE THAT THE GOVERNMENT WOULD USE SUCH A HORRIBLE METHOD OF MAKING MONEY ON THE PEOPLE THIS NATION BECAUSE

[00:55:09]

INFLATION IS NOTHING BUT A TAX AND IF YOU'VE GOT 16% INFLATION OR WHATEVER, AN AVERAGE FAMILY COSTS $800 MORE A MONTH TO LIVE, IT'S UNACCEPTABLE. SO I DON'T KNOW.

SO I WAS PROPOSING SILVER FOR BACKING THE CURRENCY BECAUSE EVERYBODY COULD GET THEIR HANDS ON SILVER BECAUSE IT'S A PRECIOUS METAL, BUT IT'S NOT THAT EXPENSIVE, BUT THAT'S WHAT I WOULD DO.

SO SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT, I GUESS.

REALLY? NO, I HAVE HARD CURRENCY.

I'M NOT WAITING AROUND FOR WORTHLESS PAPER TO FLOAT AROUND.

THAT'S WHERE WE'RE GOING.

IT'S GOING TO BE LIKE GERMANY.

THANK YOU. MY FAMILY WAS IN GERMANY.

THANK YOU.

FRIEND OF MINE, HE TOLD ME ABOUT MR. [INAUDIBLE]. YOUR FIVE MINUTES ARE UP.

WE WILL HAVE A PUBLIC PORTION IN THE NEXT SECTION OF OUR MEETING.

ALL RIGHT. YOU CAN COME UP THEN.

ALL RIGHT. THANK YOU.

DO WE HAVE ANYONE EMAIL OR SOCIAL MEDIA OR ON THE PHONE? ON SOCIAL MEDIA WE HAVE AN ISSUE AGAIN WITH THE FACEBOOK AUDIO.

SO WE HAVE DIRECTED PEOPLE TO GO TO THE LIVE STREAM, WHICH DOESN'T HAVE THAT SAME ISSUE AND WE WILL LOOK INTO HOW TO FIX THAT ONCE AGAIN.

ALL RIGHT. THANK YOU. IF NOTHING ELSE, IS THERE ANYONE ELSE FROM THE PUBLIC WISHING TO SPEAK AT THIS TIME? ALL RIGHT. SEEING NONE.

IS THERE A MOTION TO CLOSE THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THIS MEETING? SO MOVED. SECOND.

ALL IN FAVOR? AYE.

AYES HAVE IT.
